For couples

An advent calendar for your boyfriend, girlfriend or partner

Chocolate is gone by breakfast. A calendar you fill yourself lasts all of December: one small piece of the two of you every morning, from 1 to 24 December.

Why make one yourself

A shop calendar says the same thing to everyone. One you make for your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife can only come from you: the photo from your first trip, the song from the car, the joke nobody else gets.

With Wrappie you fill 24 windows on your phone or computer and send one link. Your partner opens it in any browser, with nothing to install, and every morning one new window unwraps. Days that haven’t come yet stay locked, so there is no peeking at the 24th.

Mix big and small days

You don’t need 24 grand gestures. The best calendars are mostly small things, a photo, a two-line note, a silly question, with a few bigger days in between: a real present on the weekends, a voice note on a Monday, something special on the 24th.

24 ideas, day by day

A plan you can copy as it is or shuffle. Each idea fits one Wrappie window.

How to make it in one evening

Start with the days you’re sure about, the photos and the real presents, then fill the gaps with notes, coupons and questions. You can stop at any point and carry on later from the same private link, and you can change any day they haven’t opened yet.

When you’re ready, send the link however you usually talk: in WhatsApp, Messages, an email or written on a card under their pillow. From 1 December one window opens a day, and you can see which days they’ve opened.

Running late?

Starting on 5 December is fine. Send it with the days you have: the ones that have already passed open at once, and you add the rest as you go.

Questions

Does my partner need to install an app?

No. The calendar is a link that opens in any browser, on Android, iPhone, iPad or a computer.

Can they open all the windows at once?

No. Each day opens on its date at midnight wherever they are, and its content isn’t sent to their device before that.

Can I add real presents?

Yes. A real-gift window holds a hint where you hid something, and they tap “I found it” once they have it.

Can I change a day after sending?

Yes, any day they haven’t opened yet. You edit it from the same private link you made it with.

Who can see our photos and recordings?

Only people with the link. Everything is stored encrypted, and the key is the link itself.

Start with day 1

It takes one evening, or 24 short ones.
